Wonderful piece! Just played this with TCU high school symphonic summer band for their camp, it was my favorite out of the 5 pieces.

This was so fun to play at TMEA with the 5a band!

My grandson who plays trumpet in his high school wind ensemble played this last night in their concert. Fantastic! They are going to play it next month in Indianapolis at a competition. Those high school kids are amazingly talented.

That trumpet solo just gives me the chills. This song makes me feel so much emotion and every time we play this in band I nearly cry. I miss my grandpa so much. I lost him a year ago on December 5th. This song makes me think of him. I feel the joy, the pain, the feeling of being trapped, and the multiple phases of grief in this song. I can tell Kevin Day put his heart into this song!

Let’s go, we are playing this in wind ensemble this year, I’m a euphonium and a sophomore. For my second year of high school. I can definitely say, I’m sorry for the people that quit in middle school, they don’t get to play stuff like this

In Japan, this product played by Kawaguchi City Ensemble Liberte in All Japan Band Competition 2023. They let our listen wonderful music.Their performance is very wonderful, cool, and hot. Mr. Day, I recommend their performance to you.

I’m looking at the TMEA repertoire and I saw this and I’m not sure if I’ll be in that band but this is a neat piece.
